PostSubject: Riding Boots   Sun Apr 19, 2009 10:20 pm

Well I picked me up a pair of the new Icon Accelerant boots, and I must say they are more comfortable than my nike shox...lol

They are not racing boots but are built for street riding. They are waterproof with a ankle strap for support. The are a mixture of leather and nylon upper and the soles are super sticky for traction even in the wettest conditions.

I highly recommend these boots for street riding, long trips and even daily use. I have worn mine every day since i brought them home.

Average Retail for these are $125.00 but if you look hard enough you can find them on sale. I purchased mine from Rose Kawasaki in Rossville, Ga and they arrived within a day.

So there ya go one review on a great pair of boots.....

Did u wear those to the gap? I needed boots badly and decided to get the baddest Oxtars I could find and it's just overkill for most riding. I feel like an astronaut riding my bike and they clunk and sqeak all over the place when I'm walking.

I found sportbike track gear.com a good place to buy gear . They have good prices & they do video reviews of the stuff they sell.

Nope since I didnt plan on poking around the gap and the chance of carnage was much greater I wore more good ol' Diadora race boots, but those will soon be replaced with new ones....
